Khomlainai is a traditional indigenous sport of the Boro community, promoted for cultural preservation, physical discipline, education, and structured sporting development. The Website serves as an informational, registration, documentation, and outreach platform.

  • Khomlainai involves physical activity and traditional combat techniques

  • Participants acknowledge the inherent risk of injury

  • Medical fitness is the sole responsibility of the participant / guardian

  • The organising body shall not be liable for injuries, accidents, or health complications arising during training, demonstrations, or competitions, except as mandated by law

5. Code of Conduct

All users and participants must:

  • Respect the cultural sanctity of Khomlainai

  • Follow discipline, fair play, and safety rules

  • Refrain from violence outside sport rules, abuse, discrimination, or misconduct

  • Avoid political, religious, or commercial misuse of the sport Violation may lead to suspension, disqualification, or legal action.

6. Indigenous Knowledge & Cultural Rights

  • Khomlainai is part of indigenous cultural heritage

  • Unauthorized commercial use, distortion, or misrepresentation is strictly prohibited

  • Training methods, rules, documentation, and symbols remain the collective intellectual and cultural property of the Khomlainai governing bodies and community

7. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All logos, texts, images, videos, manuals, rules, and content are protected

  • No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, or distributed without prior written consent

  • User-submitted content (photos/videos) may be used for documentation, education, and promotion, unless explicitly restricted by the user in writing

8. Events, Demonstrations & Championships

  • Rules, formats, venues, and schedules may change without notice

  • Decisions of referees, officials, and organising committees shall be final and binding

  • The organizing body reserves the right to cancel or postpone events due to unavoidable circumstances
